Public service users in the City of Buenos Aires will be able to enjoy a discount of up to 20% on their bill payments through the virtual wallet "Buepp" of Banco Ciudad. This initiative arises from an agreement between the AGIP and the bank aimed at promoting the use of the application, regardless of whether users are clients of the bank or not. The benefit will be available until mid-year and will allow users to receive a total of up to $60,000 in reimbursements during 2025, as long as they pay their bills with funds in their account.
The refund of the discount will be made within a period of up to 45 days after the payment is made, and it is necessary to follow some steps to access the benefit through the Buepp application, available for Android and iOS devices. Users will need to register with a phone number and email, validate their identity with an ID and facial recognition, deposit money into the account, and scan the QR code of the bill to make a payment.
The 20% discount on ABL payment will be valid until June 30, with a reimbursement cap of $10,000 per month, achievable with a payment of $50,000. This discount is exclusive to users in the City of Buenos Aires and applies to both physical and digital invoices. Users will be able to access the discount by scanning the QR code of the bill through the "Buepp" wallet of Banco Ciudad.
